001. COMPETITION

a) Competition will take place as part of the 7. edition of Sopot Film Festival

b) Competition is open for all filmmakers – proffesional, independent, film & art students

c) Competition is made up of main 2 sections:

I. SHORT FEATURE - short narrative - up to 30-40 min
II.SHORT ANIMATION - narrative & experimental
(flash, 3D, 2D, paper etc. – up to 30-40 min)

d) Becides competition we’d like to present FULL LENGHT FEATURE movies.
So If You’d like to promote your works, please submit them.

002. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

a) Movies should be produced after 1. January 2004

b) Copies must be sent before 15. July 2007 to:

c) Submission package must contain:

- copy of film on DVD
- completed and signed entry form
- filled e-form at:  www.sff.pl
- if possible a poster and other promo stuff on CD-R

d) Every film has to be recorded on a separate print.

e) Submission copy will stay after festival in organizers archive.

f) You can submit as much works as you wish, but for every submission there must be separate copy, entry form and etc. (see above).

003. COPYRIGHTS

a) By applying films for the competition Applicant accepts the public presentation of the film at the Festival presentations and special after-festival shows promoting Sopot Film Festival.

b) The copyrights of the film must not be limited and must not infringe the copyrights of others. If not, the author should attach the statement specifying the legal situation of the film.

c) Applicant accepts broadcasting fragments of the movie (max. 1,5 min) in TV stations – partners of the Sopot Film Festival.

d) Fragments of selected works (max. 1,5 min) might be placed on festival website.

004. OTHER REGULATIONS

a) All submitted films will be qualified for the competition by the Pre-Selection Commission. The list of accepted films will be available on festival website.

b) Every change of rules & regulations will be published on festival website.
